2013 Allobroges

92 points - Harvey Steinman of Wine Spectator had the following to say: "Broad and expressive, layering blackberry, dark plum, tar and floral flavors against lightly crunchy tannins. The finish glows. Syrah, Mourvedre and Grenache. Best from 2018 through 2023."

2013 Cabernet Sauvignon

90 points - Jeb Dunnuck of the Wine Advocate had the following to say: "Gilbert Cellars’ 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is outstanding. Possessing a Bordeaux-like array of tobacco leaf, black currants and lead pencil, it’s medium to full-bodied and has lots of pretty fruit on the palate, nicely integrated acidity and ripe tannin. There’s also an overriding sense of purity and elegance that grows on you with time in the glass. This is a rock solid value that can be enjoyed today or cellared for a decade or more."

2014 Left Bank

A red blend of 28% Cabernet Sauvignon, 49% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot.

Best enjoyed over a lingering meal, this Washington blend greets you with aromas of black cherry cordial, followed by rich bouquet garni. A soft, balanced texture, bright mountain berries, and hints of foraged mushrooms entice your palate, while sun dried fruit and fresh cedar endure through the finish.

2013 Syrah

The wine is a beautiful magenta that literally coats the glass. On the nose it displays rich blackberry type fruits accented by a wonderful floral lift. In the background is the classic liquid smoke and black olive I associate with Syrah. The palate is sweet and oaky up front, transitioning into a medium bodied mid palate that has good breadth and fine prickly tannins. The finish has great presence and lingers nicely.

2012 Reserve No. 1

91 points - Jeb Dunnuck of the Wine Advocate had the following to say: One of the top wines in the portfolio, the 2012 Reserve Series is a gorgeous blend of 60% Syrah and 40% Grenache that spent 17 months in 40% new French oak. Most of the new oak here was reserved for the Syrah, with the Grenache kept mostly in neutral barrels. Inky colored, with rocking notes of white pepper, liquid blackberry, plum, wild herbs and licorice, this full-bodied, voluptuously textured beauty stays nicely polished and fresh, with terrific length. They plan to keep the wine in bottle for a year prior to release, and it should be singing at that point, and evolve nicely through 2022.
