2022 Orange Wine

The Riesling fruit for this wine comes from our estate vineyard on the Hackett Ranch. Fermentation began naturally with the addition of a pied de cuve, followed by fermenting for 10 days on the skins. This method of winemaking can be called Orange Wine or Skin-contact wine, which acheives additional color and flavor extraction from the contact between juice and skin. The wine was finished in stainless steel tanks after pressing.
