Sultry summer sun upon a steep terraced slope provides idyllic conditions to fully ripen the often elusive Carménère grape. We are thrilled to bring you this small bottling of a unique Washington wine.
Cast aside by Bordeaux but embraced by Chilean grape growers, little by little, this unique grape variety is gaining prominence in Washington State. With a fascinating nose of herbs and jalapeño, and a lingering palate of dark fruit and peppery accents, our 2020 Carménère is a classic example of the varietal. - Dusty Jenkins, Winemaker

Attractive mix of ripe dark and blue fruit, dried herbs, blue flowers and wet stones. Focused and well-toned on the palate, with medium to full body and juicy acidity. The tannins are compact but fine in texture. Succulent finish. Drink or hold.
